Airfare
Due to Royal Caribbean & Air Line regulation changes we will no longer be offering Airfare through Royal Caribbean as part of your cruise package - effective October 15th 2007.
When making your own Air and Ground transportation arrangements please read below
Coming in a day or two early for the cruise gives you several advantages:
Less stress in case your flights are delayed!
Gives you extra time in case of inclement weather.
Flights are more readily available
during non week-end days into the cruise port city because
the cruise lines reserves most of the air flights for their
customers on the sail dates. (10/31 or 11/07).
Better chance of using your air miles
Flights
are also less expensive during the week days.
Best of all it gives you a chance to start the party early at the host hotel.
There are 3
airports to choose from: Daytona(DAB), Melbourne(MLB) and most popular, Orlando(MCO)
Melbourne is the closest, also usually the most expensive
and most difficult to book a flight into. Your most likely choice
will be Orlando. It takes approx. 1.5 hours from plane
touch down to the port. That’s 30 minutes to check
through the airport and a 1 hour bus ride. Although Orlando
is a big airport it is totally organized. You don’t
feel like you’re in a foreign country, people are very
friendly, everything is where it is supposed to be and runs
smoothly. Disney’s influence has definitely rubbed off
on the Orlando airport and the bus service is super efficient
and comfortable.
If you are making your own air arrangements into the Port
Canaveral area on the same day the ship sails and returns:
Arrival Flights on Oct 31st should arrive no later than 1:00pm. You must
be on the ship by 3:00pm
Departure Flights on Nov 7th should depart no earlier than 12:30 pm. Remember it takes about 45 minutes travel time from the Orlando airport to the ship, and it takes about 2 hours from the time you get to the airport wait through security and actually get to your gate.
Remember to book your Ground Transportation, shuttle services and car rentals information is listed below (it's a 45 minute trip to the port from Orlando airport).
For more information on make your own ground transfers to the ship see our Transportation page.
