We put the FUN back in rallies

Our Caribbean rallies have earned the reputation of being more fun than most can handle. Some year’s selling out almost one year in advance, our rallies are anything but the normal blah blah blah rally. Most of our rally participants have never been on a cruise ship and many have never vacationed in the locations we have our rallies. Let’s face it..one of the main reasons we rally in these locations is, you can ride your bikes to them. Therefore, we try to make it as simple, comfortable and inviting to motorcycle riders as possible. Although the majority of our participants are currently American V-Twin riders, all motorcycle enthusiasts are invited, even if you don’t own a bike and dozens of different motorcycle brand riders are represented at every one of our rallies from all parts of the world. Besides, it’s not about the bikes..it’s about the riders. It's just one big FUN happy family and since this family has grown so much we have added new rally destinations like Alaska and the Mexican Riviera but since this is the Caribbean site, the following info will pertain mostly to the Caribbean rally.

First: We changed the dress code aboard ship to typical motorcycle attire. In other words…this ain’t no dress-up cruise. Since we have our own private evening dining the most formal we get is “leather required” on the 2 nights the ship requires formal attire. Even our waiters wear motorcycle t-shirts, leather jackets, etc. and they are just as happy as you for our dress code. We do add in a pinch of pirate atmosphere, especially in the Caribbean but each rally has a little different flavor with games and events tailored to the region. As far as weather goes, expect mid 80’s both in and out of the water in the Caribbean and if it does happen to rain in one location we will be 400 miles away the next morning. And of course we have the ship, which is kind of a floating Las Vegas.

Speaking of dining...food is available 24 hrs a day aboard ship for the length of the rally and is INCLUDED in your cabin price. Want breakfast in your room? Just pick up the phone and tell them what you want and what time to deliver. WE have seen some big guys eat the price of the cruise..and that’s O.K. Alcohol and soft drinks are not included and are average price on the ship. On-shore however, we have special rally drink and food discount packages that you just can’t believe. Also, no need to worry about tips onboard the ship, they are also included in our cabin price. Of course, all ship entertainment is also included. So far...wear your normal clothes, don’t worry about tips aboard ship, eat all you want 24-7, all entertainment is included!

Due to increasingly poor air carrier "on time" arrival percentages, we no longer book airfare as part of your cruise package. Therefore, travel arrangements to the departing port are at your expense. We do provide lots of travel info on our Hotel/ Transportation page of this website. Since our cruises leave on Sunday, we recommend arriving on Friday or Saturday to begin your adventure early by socializing with as many as 1,000 of our early rally arrivals from all over the world at our host hotel BON VOYAGE PARTY. It also gives you some time to get acclimated to the climate, time change and to get rid of any jet lag before you board the ship.
Our port locations also offer many sites to see. We do secure the entire host hotel and most of 2 additional hotels, just for our rally passengers. The host hotel is the site of our Bon Voyage party on Saturday night before the cruise on Sunday. When you call to make reservations at either of the recommended hotels, you must mention you're with High Seas Rally or they will tell you that they are sold out. By arriving a day or 2 prior, most can save enough on their airfare to pay for their hotel stay and parking.

Proper ID: To first get aboard ship you must provide proper identification.
Since 9-11 this has changed practically every 6 months. One item has always been the same. If you have a valid passport that does not expire until at least 6 months after the cruise date and a photo drivers liscense..your covered.

Because so many people ask, we (Dean & Debbie) will be there and YES we have been riding for many years and YES Debbie has been riding her own Heritage® since 1993. We were not travel agents before we dreamed up this rally and this rally is all we do, 100+ hours per week. Every week. We are the sole developers of the rally and we are the chief, cook and bottle washers of this event. Currently we are our only full time employees. We will see you at check in, at every show, dinner, at the onshore parties…about 20 hours a day. Yeah, we're the ones that answer the phones, write the newsletters, update the web site, design the t-shirts and send out the invoices too. So if you have a question or comments come see us or call us at 1-800-444-8795. Odds are you won’t get an answering machine.

Now: on to the good stuff. Vendors. What would a rally be without vendors? We presently invite about 18-20 industry leading motorcycle related vendors aboard the ship, pay for their balcony cabin, food, vendor booth area, etc. Just so they will be in such a great mood that they can’t resist giving away a minimum of $5,000 each of their product to our rally passengers...no purchase required. If they have a good week in sales you can expect much more than the $5,000 minimum. Some vendors regularly giveaway over $15,000 in prizes each year. Almost every night we randomly draw names to give away the prizes. We also give away vendor prizes in our Poker Walk, 50/50 and our HSR Contests. All purchased vendor merchandise and items won at our nightly drawings, games, and contests will be shipped to your home address. Kinda hard to put a new engine in your luggage. I know it sounds too good to be true but you can expect approx. $120,000+ in FREE giveaways just from the vendors. Most companies will also be represented by the owners and all are hand picked.
To keep the rally spirit going we have created special biker games and events on ship. Fun is our sole mission on this rally. So how completely NEW fun such as a belly smacker contest, best beard, treasured chest contest, pirate biker bingo, poker walk, t-shirt swap, etc.

Check them out on our ENTERTAINMENT page of our web site. All entertainment is exclusive to our rally participants, some games pay as much as $25,000 plus to the winners. You can expect $70,000+ in cash to be given away at these events alone. Winning money can be fun too! Of course the ship has one of the largest casinos on water for you natural born winners that want to try your luck.
For the groups that like to travel together: Why not give away $3,000 cash to the group with the most participants, then we will draw from the 2nd-5th place groups for another $2,000 cash, and 6th - 10th place will draw for yet another $1,000 cash. Don’t have to be part of a club just give your group a name. Check it out on our RALLY NEWS page.

Gotta have a grand prize…so how about a new bike. Say, worth between $25 - $40,000? No raffle tickets, just a random drawing on our last day by your cabin room #.  Thought you might like that! We will also throw in a 1 hour DVD of the rally for the camera hams, a rally patch, pin, magnetic door plaques with your first name and state, bottle of Champaign in your room and some more goodies. Now… we are going ashore of course and that’s a whole 'nother story.

For those that like to party...we have the best. How about 2 of Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville locations, and Carlos’N' Charlie’s.  All scheduled in the afternoon so you can plan your island adventures in the mornings. No worries about riding your bikes if you’ve had a few too many. We’ll get you back to the ship on time. Providing we can find you. See our ENTERTAINMENT section on the web page and the SHORE EXCURSION page for onshore adventures. WE also have an on-ship Halloween party and assuming you arrive by Saturday..the Bon Voyage party at the host hotel.

For those that like shore activities: You can schedule wave runners, scooters, go horse back riding, zip lines, snorkel, scuba, glass submarines, jeep and off roading, Island tours, bobsled roller coasters through the jungle, rafting..too much to list. Or just melt into the white sand beaches with a tropical drink.
Pace yourself, trying to do everything on your first trip will ruin your vacation and besides you will want to come back next year anyway. Here’s another twist for you. Some of our recommended shore locations actually give our rally participants a 15% discount simply by showing your HSR  armband. No price gouging just because you’re at a rally. They appreciate your business.

Our goal is to provide the most fun you can have at a rally. By keeping our rally size small in number (under 3,000) you will meet and make friends with more motorcycle enthusiasts at our rallies than any other rally. For the first time since you can remember, you’ll agree that you got more than your monies worth. There’s a reason these rallies are well know as “the rally that’s almost too much fun”.
So register now. Unlike all other rallies, if you’re not on board you missed it and if you bump into anyone that was there...you’re gonna hear about it.
